Lost in Frenchlation opens up the world of French cinema to the international community of french cities by screening the latest French films with English subtitles, often followed by Q&As with the film crews, and hosting drinks before each screening so that the international crowd can meet each other and native people from Strasbourg.
Elise, 26 ans est une grande danseuse classique. Elle se blesse pendant un spectacle et apprend qu’elle ne pourra plus danser. Dès lors sa vie va être bouleversée, Elise va devoir apprendre à se réparer… Entre Paris et la Bretagne, au gré des rencontres et des expériences, des déceptions et des espoirs, Elise va se rapprocher d’une compagnie de danse contemporaine. Cette nouvelle façon de danser va lui permettre de retrouver un nouvel élan et aussi une nouvelle façon de vivre.
Elise, 26, is a great ballet dancer. She is injured during a performance and learns that she will no longer be able to dance. From then on, her life is turned upside down, and Elise has to learn how to repair herself… Between Paris and Brittany, through encounters and experiences, disappointments and hopes, Elise gets closer to a contemporary dance company. This new way of dancing will give her a new lease of life.

Totone, 18 ans, passe le plus clair de son temps à boire des bières et écumer les bals du Jura avec sa bande de potes. Mais la réalité le rattrape : il doit s’occuper de sa petite sœur de 7 ans et trouver un moyen de gagner sa vie. Il se met alors en tête de fabriquer le meilleur comté de la région, celui avec lequel il remporterait la médaille d’or du concours agricole et 30 000 euros.
Totone, 18 years old, spends most of his time drinking beers and slacking with his buddies. But real life hits hard : he has to take care of his 7 year old sister and find a job. To put himself back on track, he fantasizes about winning the best Comté cheese award and its 30 000 euros cash prize.
